Ella Valley - Tel Azekah

Center

The Valley of Ela (Emek HaEla) is on Route 375 near the junction to Road 38.

It is said that the battle between David and Goliath was here. Even the oldest script found written in ink from the period of David (around 1000 BC) was found near the Ella Fortress. Walking along on the marked path (Israel National Trail) you can find here some archaeological excavations.
